Philadelphia Trip Day 5

DAY FIIIIVEEE TO NYC!
The morning started out per usual with Eamon doing some pull ups.
We ate some food then Charlie and Sara drove us to the bus station.
MEGABUSSSSSS
This is some crazy building. Yeah.
On our way!
We ended up in the city and right away went to Stumptown.
This was my favorite part!
Got some coffee then sat in the lobby of the ace. It was kind of really awesome. Soon after our friend Hannah showed up and showed us around.
She showed us to the place to get milkshakes. Soooooo good.
With milkshakes in hand we walked to Hannah's Apartment. Annnd this is the view.
We dropped off our bags and set out to accomplish the list of things I wanted to do in New York.
Bigness.
GIMMEEEEEE!!!!
This crazy miniature Husky was hanging out out front.
We got some coffee then kept walking to the next spot. Grime!
This is a fixed freestyle boutique called The Grime. It was awesome. We got to meet them all and they were super nice. It was cool. Eamon and I grabbed some shirts then were on our way.
Chari & Co was next. It was neat. Once again I was getting to see so many things I had only seen pictures of. We wanted to stop by Supreme next. So we did.
Really cool and really expensive. We started heading back to Hannah's to get ready to go see Alex and Kate.
Eamon begged me to take this photo for him.
KATSU KATSU everywhere.
We got back to Hannah's kicked it, took mirror photos then jumped on the subway.
I thought they looked like ghost.
After a short ride we were in Brooklyn where we met up with Alex and Kate.
We walked around and posed for some photos then eventually headed back to Hanna's.
The night was soon over, so we rested up for tomorrow. I got about half of the things on my list checked off. And was thoroughly Impressed with NYC. I was also impressed with the amount of kids from Oly here. ha.

Philadelphia Trip Day 4

DAY FOUR!R!RR!R
Sara and Charlie had to open, so I woke up later and took a walk down to Shot Tower to visit them.
There are a lot of murals around Philadelphia and this is one of the stranger ones. Not quite sure whats going on. uhhhhhhhhh
I got to Shot Tower and snapped this picture as soon as I walked in. Apparently the guy on the far right was trying to pass off fake bills to Charlie. BUT he's a pro and wouldn't let it happen.
We then got back to the house and picked up some tacos on our way.
They were awesome.
THEN this guy showed up!
More coffee was the next step, so we headed to Ultimo.
Ocean's four.
Charlie was excited.
While waiting for our coffee Eamon showed me his recent surgery. He got extra muscles implanted in his finger for optimized rowing. Just kidding. He scraped himself or something.
The coffee was great so we went back to the house for some outdoor time!
Later that night we went to the Memphis Tap room for more hot dogs!
Then Charlie took us for a drive around Philly.
We ended up at the art museum, so we got out to walk around.
The new Sara, Eamon, Charlie (SEC) album cover?
Creeper statues, but they were down to dance.
Fish heads.
I am king!
I'm getting eaten by the lion and Eamon's eating the guys foot. No joke.
Eamon and I ended the night with racing up the infamous "Rocky" steps!
Eamon won.
So far its been great in Philadelphia and I'm excited that Eamon was able to meet up.
Tomorrow we head to NYC!

philadelphia Trip Day 3

Dayyyyyyyy Threeeeee
The morning started out with Charlie and I heading out on a bike ride. We rode down Passyunk and hit up a couple record shops. I found this really awesome RCA Synthesizer record. But there are no photo records of it. We then biked to a Bicycle Revolutions, a bike shop that I wanted to see.
The store front was bright and colorful.
There was so many things in the store that I had only seen on the interwebs. Like these bikes below.
And a shop isn't a shop with out SHOP DOGS!
Also inside was my friend Nell from Olympia. She was guest working at the shop for the past week. Its a small world. Charlie and I then biked to the Reload store.
The shop layout was cool.
And there was bags galore. Like these cool dog and Madlib ones.
Outside the shop were these awesome benches/bike rack that I thought my dad would like.
We soon began to hunger, so we biked to a burger joint called sketch.
The name stems from the sketches all around the walls, not the fact that it is in a kind of sketchy neiborhood called Fishtown. This was my burger.
On the way home after this I caught a glace of some sweet graffiti.
Two faces and a Banksy?
We soon biked home in the sunset to watch Salt. Both the bike ride and the movie were rad.
REAL LIFE ACTION.
Then I slept. WOOOOO. Onto day fooourloko
